La Tessoria was founded by Marija Pudane. It is a hand weaving Laboratory dedicated to the textile design by using traditional loooms for the product of appareals and home furnishing.

The Laboratory is specialised in textile art, keeping alive the antique tradition though the artist design and creations. Thanks to the art of hand weaving and the use of natural fibre rope they create unique samples of furnishing and apparels.

In addition Marija, in her studio, offers the highest range of customised services with the ability to create custom, bespoke and exclusive items. You can find the Laboratory in via Foschiatti 4c.

Here we have the Mary Katrantzou denim line. She called denim company Current Elliott (that she admired) and add her unmistaklabe mark-making.

The prints are from passports and visa stamps in keeping with her spring/summer 2013 collection. So, here we go with Mary’s denim line!

There are certain things that leave an impression on me more than others, and that was exactly what happened with the P13 STUDIO.

P13 is a journey in the spirit of timeless landscapes. It’s a story written without ink, but with a thread that is the color of earth and sky, and which has the shape of the wind and comes to life through the symbols of ancient cultures.

 „I remember my grandmother with much love. She would sit on a moss green leather armchair with a big and soft pillow holding her back, then she’d take her loom and start embroidering. At her right side she had a basket full of colored threads and needles, the radio on the decorated wooden cupboard. She loved listening classical music. I think that in her own way, she wanted to leave me a memory made of colors, fabrics, fantasy and lots of love…And she did” – says Elisabetta Armelin

Anine shopping avanture zabilježene unutar kolumne  na našoj web adresi, nastavljaju se i u 2013. godini!

Svoj shopping izvještaj danas započinjem kod STRANOMAVERO. Kao i uvijek, zaustavljam se ispred stabla čuda i divim se novim Antonellinim kreacijama…svaka sa svojim imenom, svojim vremenom i svojom dušom. Pitam je za broševe i tako započinjemo, a da toga niti nismo svjesne, naš mali razgovor.
Dok pišem ovaj članak ponovno slušam snimak našeg razgovora i pokušavam shvatiti što da izostavim. Zaključak?… Ništa!
Odlučila sam vam ga prenijeti u potpunosti, riječ po riječ, jer sam još uvijek ganuta i oduševljena. Ovo je priča o STRANOMAVERO nakitu!

ANTONELLA: „Ovo što vidiš na mom stolu je tanjur u kojemu sastavljam kombinacije. U njega stavljam perlice pa ih dodajem ili vadim sve dok ne nađem prave „sastojke“. No, glavni element za mene je aluminij. Na samom početku svojeg rada koristila sam posrebreni bakar, ali nisam bila zadovoljna jer bi srebro s vremenom izgubilo sjaj, a bakar mi se ne sviđa jer nije pogodan za oblikovanje poput aluminija. Obzirom da sam deset godina učila keramiku moje je prvotno zanimanje keramičar,  stoga volim materijale koji se mogu oblikovati rukama, a po tom je pitanju aluminij bio savršen. No, s vremenom su me počeli oponašati pa sam odlučila pronaći nešto novo.“

ANA: “Dakle, osjetila si potrebu da svoj materijal učiniš različitim od drugih?”

ANTONELLA: “Da! Nakon duge potrage pronašla sam poduzeće koje mi anodizira aluminij. Ja im pošaljem aluminij u grubom stanju, a oni mi ga obojaju u boje koje želim. Aluminij u bojama koje vidiš ovdje (fotografija ispod) imam samo ja!”

ANA: “Koliko ti je vremena potrebno za izradu ogrlice?”

ANTONELLA: “Nakon što sam odabrala sastojke za mene je najteži dio posla gotov, tako da mi je za izradu ogrlice potrebno 45minuta, sat i pol najviše. Sve ovisi o poteškoćama na koje nailazim u samom stvaranju, jer ja ne radim prethodnu studiju nego započnem s radom i inspiracija dolazi u samom stvaralačkom postupku. U početku svog rada morala sam se boriti sama sa sobom da bih shvatila što sam jer sam mislila da sam izvođač, proizvođačica nakita, a zapravo sam stvaraoc, jer nakit koji izrađujem plod je isključivo moje kreativnosti.”

“Za mene je nakit izraz osjećaja, emocija… Ne izrada, nego stvaranje!”

Mali savjet koji vam mogu dati, ne kao osobni kupac već kao ljubitelj Antonellinih ogrlica, je da ju posjetite, pogledate njezine kreacije, isprobate ih, nosite i osjetite!

“For a fashion lover like me to attend the press day at Dsquared² is like going to Disneyland for a kid.

The entire collection already seen on the catwalks in September was there at my complete disposal: I was able to caress the clothes on display on their hangers and touch objects carefully arranged on the tables.

With the Spring/Summer 2013 collection titled “Back to Glamazons” the twins Dean and Dan Caten, the creative souls of Dsquared², are back in the ’90s and especially 1995, the year of the first collection carrying their name. The main feature of the collection is opulence and the magic phrase is “less is more, but more is not enough!”. We start with the discovery of the DNA of the denim, the pilaster of the brand since their debut. For Dean and Dan the word DNA becomes an acronym for Denim Needs Accessories.”
