Although rumours started circulating around the web 3 months ago, one of the Croatian newsweeks released this piece of news recently.
So, will Obama do the favour for Wintour? Whether it is her special wish or not, Anna Wintour has the chance to become American ambassador to Britain.
How close is that position to the fashion industry? Not that close, you would say. And you would be right.
But better to make a move upwards than to remain chief editor of Vogue. Agree? The years spent there must have worn her out so much, that she desires a change of scene.
It is beside the point if that should include a position as America’s propagator and head figure in Britain, regardless of the fact that Britain is a notable country of an eminent fashion history. There she would definitely find her suitable place.
After all, she was born in Britain.
This only shows how crucial it is to be near people of high position.
Inviting Michelle Obama for an interview, being a democrat party supporter, organizing fundraising events and delivering successfully large sums of money for political cause….all facts adding up, will secure her a place in conducting American affairs on the territory of Europe.
Or can we say that her stylish appearance and irrevocably authoritative stance is a guarantee for attaining such a political role in which she will be able to represent everything that America stands for at the moment? Could that be anyone else instead who shows such signs, too?
