Fashion & shopping adventures of our columnist Anna, a personal shopper from Trieste, have their sequals. This time Anna describes her visit to Wonderland, sorry – Dsquared2land, and brings a sense of the atmosphere of Dsquared Press Day.
“For a fashion lover like me to attend the press day at Dsquared² is like going to Disneyland for a kid.
The entire collection already seen on the catwalks in September was there at my complete disposal: I was able to caress the clothes on display on their hangers and touch objects carefully arranged on the tables.
With the Spring/Summer 2013 collection titled “Back to Glamazons” the twins Dean and Dan Caten, the creative souls of Dsquared², are back in the ’90s and especially 1995, the year of the first collection carrying their name. The main feature of the collection is opulence and the magic phrase is “less is more, but more is not enough!”. We start with the discovery of the DNA of the denim, the pilaster of the brand since their debut. For Dean and Dan the word DNA becomes an acronym for Denim Needs Accessories.”
